Cameras are mounted in the downtown Palm Springs area to provide added safety and security within the popular tourist destination.      Video and control signals are transmitted via air link microwave to the Police Department. The video is displayed in the 911 dispatch center. The camera systems are Pelco Spectra Domes. The microwave equipment is Premier Wireless. The switch is a Pelco 9760 and the digital video recorder is a Pelco DX9000.
